Officials and employees of the civil service are principally not allowed to accept rewards and presents.
Customers of the Luftfahrt-Bundesamt (LBA) always have the right to a correct and prompt handling of their matters within the legal scope and the relevant regulations. Even if, due to small presents, officials and employees do not come into conflict with their official duties, we would like to avoid the slightest behaviour that could reflect badly on the officials and employees and thus on the Luftfahrt-Bundesamt.
Therefore, we kindly ask you to principally refrain from offering rewards and presents.
For further information please refer to the catalogue of questions/answers of the Federal Ministry of the Interior (BMI) regarding the acceptance of rewards, presents and other advantages (allocations).
