The LBA offers the following options for submitting an application: 

  1. Informal letter with letterhead and original signature by mail to Luftfahrt-Bundesamt, Department T3, 38144 Braunschweig, Germany
  2. The above letter scanned and submitted by email to RefT3@lba.de or a general LBA e-mail box
  3. The above letter submitted in fax form to +49 531 2355 5399 or a general LBA fax number
