News

  • Theoretical examinations at LBA according to regulation (EU) 1178/2011 are only carried out according to the new syllabus. You can find all relevant information at FCL examinations.
  • Information about BIR (Basic Instrument Rating)

The department L2 is holding theoretical examinations in order to acquire the following licences and ratings:

  • Airline transport pilot licence (airplane) - ATPL(A),
  • Airline transport pilot licence (helicopter) - ATPL(H) VFR/IR,
  • Multi-crew pilot licence- MPL,
  • Commercial pilot licence (airplane) - CPL(A),
  • Commercial pilot licence (helicopter) - CPL(H),
  • Commerical pilot licence (airship) - CPL(As),
  • Instrument rating - IR, CB-IR, BIR,
  • Flight dispatcher - FDB,
  • Flight technician on helicopters - FTH

as well as examinations for the validation of foreign licences and credit of military ratings.

If you wish to sit an exam to aquire a light aircraft pilot’s licence (LAPL), sail plane pilot licence (SPL), ballon pilot licence(BPL), privat pilot licence for airplanes (PPL(A)) or helicopter (PPL(H)) please contact the competent (Civil) Aviation Authority of the respective federal state (Bundesland).
