Familiarization procedures for Foreign Examiners in accordance with FCL.1015 c)

Holders of an examiner certificate issued by a competent authority of an EU member state another than a German authority wishing to conduct Practical Skill Tests, Proficiency Checks and Assessments of Competence on pilots holding a German licence, shall study the latest version of the Examiner Differences Document (EDD) - which is provided on the EASA website - prior to the intended test.

If the applicant for a PPL(As), CPL, MPL, ATPL or Instrument  Rating holds already a license issued by the Luftfahrt-Bundesamt (LBA) or will select the LBA as competent authority foreign examiners have to notify every intended Skill Test (Proficiency Checks or Assessments of Competence are not affected) with the form Test Notification.
